Case: The Diabetes Research Foundation

KarpaloGroup and the Diabetes Research Foundation have a long history together. Over the years, we’ve supported their fundraising efforts by designing marketing materials, including annual reports.

After a brief hiatus, the Foundation reached out to us again, thanks to the strong impact of our previous work together. This time, they wanted to revamp the look of the Diabetes Research Foundation so we got down to business.

In the kick-off meeting, our creative director Kukka-Maaria Jaatinen and project manager Raisa Käyhkö discussed the Foundation’s needs, and the next step was to prepare a photoshoot plan a proposal for the new look. Then, the new look was implemented in print and online, with the website designed by the Foundation’s partner Poutapilvi.

"We came full circle!" Our long-standing partnership with Karpalo lay dormant for a few years because we wanted to see what the grass tasted like on the other side of the fence. Coming home to familiar people was a warm welcome, and the result is a pleasure every time."

You can cooperate with KarpaloGroup through different service models. While many projects benefit from a dedicated copywriter, the Diabetes Research Foundation prefers to handle the copy in-house through their communications expert, Pirita Salomaa, and this model has worked well across various collaborations.
