Case OP Sydänmaa: a local bank with
a heart-warming service
OP Sydänmaa has been our client since 2018. Their cooperative bank services started in Alavus in 1904 making the year 2024 a jubilee year for OP Sydänmaa. The bank, well-known for its local service, wanted to celebrate its 120 years together with their most important stakeholders, the customers. The bank was, however, lacking a jubilee concept that would not only fit smoothly in the everyday life but could also be easily adapted to different events.
Many things good and traditional are passed down from one generation to the next, and banking services are often one of them. For this reason, continuity was chosen as the core idea for the marketing concept. The concept was applied in a way that suits the nature of OP Sydänmaa: heart-warming, person to person.
The campaign was launched on Valentine’s Day. Following traditional Finnish ways, coffee was served in the bank branches of OP Sydänmaa on that special day. The campaign material was designed to be used in both print advertisements and posters as well as on digital screens and social media. Finally, we produced a jubilee film full of life. It was created and shot together with Karu Films Oy, naturally in the heart lands of Ostrobothnia.
